Taste of Tuesday: Chocolate Covered Peanuts

Today I am bringing you a delicious and easy dessert! I got the original idea from Pinterest (as usual) and it was a hit. Hubby loved it! The original recipe called for much more ingredients but in order to save some calories, I decided to just use the basics: chocolate & peanuts.

First things first, get your chocolate morsels and peanuts. Put the chocolate morsels in a microwavable bowl and heat for 45 seconds to a minute. I would heat only a little chocolate at a time so that you don't burn it.

Once melted, pour some peanuts in the bowl and stir.

Using wax paper, put dollops of the mixture down. Prior to laying out the wax paper, I would put a cooking sheet underneath. It makes for easier transportation into the 'fridge.

I refrigerated mine for about 15-20 minutes and they were totally hardened. Now that the shape is set, put 'em on display.
Instructions for the DIY display stand can be found here.
