My sixth sense

I tend to think that I'm really good at my job as an Academic Advisor. I can tell you anything and everything you could ever want to know about core curriculum, understanding degree audits, and making substitutions. But I'll spare you. Instead, I am gonna let you in on a little known fact about me.

Within 2 seconds of hearing any country song, I can tell you what the song is and who sings it.
I swear it's like a sixth sense. It just comes to me. I am not even partially exaggerating either! Momma did two things with me while I was growing inside her belly: 1) eat a s#*t ton of Mexican food, and 2) listen to country music nonstop. Thus, I was created being a beans + rice addict who enjoys a good country jam sesh.

Some of my favie country songs are:
No particular order

+ She's Every Woman - Garth Brooks

+ Neon Moon - Brooks & Dunn

+ What's It To You - Clay Walker

+ You Look So Good In Love - George Strait

+ Stars Over Texas - Tracy Lawrence

+ Shameless - Garth Brooks

+ Not On Your Love - Jeff Carson

Boom. And just like that, I've made your day.

  9. If you asked me, I would tell you I hate country music, but I love all of these songs! I grew up with them (back when I liked country) and they bring back good memories. I guess I will be listening to 90s country all day tomorrow!
