Recap: 2013

It's kind of hard to believe that in a matter of hours, it'll be a brand spanking new year. I am actually really excited for 2014, despite the anxiety I've been feeling as this day has been approaching. Anxiety about several things. But that is all beside the point. No need to dwell on that. Instead, let's talk about some accomplishments from this past year. Here are a a few highlights from 2013:

Met my first blogger friend (here)
Had a weekend-long blate with 3 other bloggers (here)
Wrote about our Trying to Conceive struggles (here & here)
Started and Completed the Project 365 challenge (here)
Bought two new cars (here)
Hubby got a job at Google (here)
Turned 26 years old (here)
Checked off several items from my 30 Before 30 list (here)
Celebrated two years of marriage (here)
Best Believe.
Here are just a few of my hopes for the 2014 year:
+ Become a mommy (either naturally, with medical assistance, or another method).
+ Continue making all A's in my graduate program. I graduate December 2014 with my master's degree! Yay for me.
+ Blog with purpose and don't write stupid, short, pointless posts.
+ Restart the Gluten Free diet. I only recently got off the diet due to the holidays, but I plan to start up again. It's a choice to be healthier - not because people think it's a "fad."
+ Continue to be the most loving, supportive wife that I can be.
+ Go to church every.single Sunday (unless we're out of town or have guests staying over) and continually grow my relationship with God!
I dunno about y'all but, I have a lot of hopes for 2014. In fact, I would be scared if I were the year "2014." There's a lot of pressure. It betta deliver. But at the end of the day, all I can do is live my life and things will fall into place exactly as God meant them (easier said than done). Can I get an Amen? Amen.
It's my hope that everyone gets what they want/need out of the new year. Most of all, it's my opinion that if you have a relationship with God, he'll take good care of you (and me)! Happy New Year and I'll see you on the flip side.
