Y U No Speak English

Pretty much all day on Wednesday and Thursday I thought it felt like Friday, so I am pretty stinking happy that it's finally here. One of my favorite beauty vloggers (here) always says the funniest things in her videos. She says (over and over) "Y'all ready for the weekend baybay? Y'all ready for the weekend?!" haha. Funny stuff. Anyways, let's get down to Five on Friday!

1. AMERICA. I love the USA (duh). I mean, I talk about this entirely too much. Or do I? One exciting thing on my 30 Before 30 list is to host a Fourth of July party. And that, my friends, is happening this year! *Insert pure excitement* Thus, I ordered the Save The Dates to be sent out soon. EEK.
2. GFC. I've been having the world's biggest issues with Google Friend Connect lately and my BFF, Google.com, helped me out. I am SO thankful for Google. Seriously. I came across this blog and it helped to restore my Google Friend Connect gadget. I'm feeling pretty accomplished!
3. INSURANCE. Strangely enough, even at 26 years old, I don't totally and completely understand Insurance and all the jargon that goes with it. I told her that I don't speak the language of her people. Just kidding - I didn't say that. But yea, long story short: I called my heath insurance company to ask some questions about my coverage and I was excited when they said that they cover 50% of fertility treatments (if it comes to that!) We will only pursue fertility treatments if we're not preggo in 2014... so we'll see. If you want to read more about our TTC experience, go here and here.
4. WEEKEND. I guess this weekend will be a re-do of last weekend in that I'll be getting my drink on again. I got a text asking if we were up for going downtown and since school just got started, I figured "what's one more weekend out?" Plus, I can fully commit to school work on Sunday and still be okay!
We're here to f*** $h*t up.
5. COOKIES. Welp, I had my cheat day of eating gluten filled girl scout cookies. But I am dunoz with gluten from here until 2015. Yep, you read it here first folks. I am dedicating the rest of the year to being Gluten Free! I am totally and completely confident. It's not even going to be that hard for me considering my favie foods actually don't contain gluten anyways. So ... hoorah for me!

  8. My boyfriend just got tested for Celiac's the other day. He's been getting horrible rashes when he eats gluten.
I work at a hospital and I'm still confused by insurance... there are a million different companies and a million different plans!

  9. 4th of July is one of my fav holidays because, in AL, it always means WATER- albeit beach, lake, pool, or whatever!! And I am proud you are researching in advance your options to do with fertility- I think that's a great, brave choice.
