First things first. Tomorrow ... well ...
It's Gonna Be May.
Next on the agenda: making your skin healthier, one spritz at a time. Yesterday at work, I was meeting with a student who happened to also be an esthetician. We got to chatting; I asked about her thoughts on the Clarisonic. Then, we somehow started talking about the perks which Aloe Vera Leaf Juice has to offer. She said that it's great for oily skin and for people with rosacea. While I have never been diagnosed with rosacea, my skin does flare up sometimes.
She explained that using equal parts water and Aloe Vera Leaf Juice is a great at-home spray. Just keep it in your 'fridge and mist away anytime you feel the need. You can do this to just freshen up your face, to set your makeup, or when you are hot & sweaty from movement. You can also simply use the Aloe Vera Leaf Juice as a toner on a cotton round.
After we spoke about this, my mind immediately jumped to the Facial Spray With Aloe, Herb and Rosewater by Mario Badescu.
The description on Ulta's website notes similar perks as the Aloe Vera Leaf Juice. Although the Mario Badescu spray is very affordable in my opinion, Aloe Vera Leaf Juice is even cheaper and will last much longer.
I drove my happy butt over to H-E-B on my lunch break and picked up this jug for less than $5! After mixing it with equal parts water and spritzing over my face, I am pleased as punch, to say the least. Not only do I feel very savvy (and slightly sassy for no good reason), but I also feel as though I'm treating my face like royalty.
Also, this morning I used the juice by itself as a toner and it really woke me up. Since you're supposed to keep the juice in your 'fridge, it stays nice and chilly. It's a better morning start than coffee is!
