Meal Planning

Here lately, hubby and I have been super duper good about grocery shopping and dining in. Plus, we save a lot of money by not eating out all the time. Although we tend to eat the same things every week when we cook, our taste buds don't mind.
We've got our grocery shopping down to a science, and Sundays after church officially consist of gathering food for the week. Yep, we shop weekly. That way the food stays fresh, plus Sunday after church we usually have nothing better to do than be productive. I'd say it's a win-win situation.

For my convenience, and to share with my best blogger friends (all y'all!), I have created a printable grocery list.
This helps us to stay on track whenever we're at H-E-B. I am not totally sure what it is about the grocery store, but I love looking at anything and everything there! Plus, I consider myself a Gluten Minimalist (a term that I coined to describe my limited gluten intake) and apparently the month of May is Celiac Disease Awareness Month!

My point is: go hug a Celiac and download this printable grocery list.

  3. I've gotten big into meal planning over the last year and it has saved me sooo much time and money! It's so nice to not have to stress every day at 6pm about what we'll be eating and has prevented many "hangry discussions" with my husband about what sounds good!

  4. Look at you, fancy pants!! I'm still writing down my list in a very disorganized manner on the first piece of paper I find. :)

  5. Well this is pretty fantastic! I have to list everything down too for our weekly meals...saves money big time instead of just buying random stuff that hopefully makes a complete meal lol. Thanks for the great print out friend!

  7. Love this! We used to be so bad about eating out all the time! Not only is it so much money, but I could tell in my body and I started to gain weight! We have been trying to plan out our meals lately, and eat healthier! Thank goodness for Pinterest or we would eat the same thing every day!

  8. I love this! Thanks for the free printable, Allison! I'm totally going to use it. And I'm super jealous that you have an HEB. I grew up in the Hill Country and always went to them and now that I'm in DFW, there are none :( Well, I heard that there's one in Burleson now but that's too far for groceries.

  11. I like going grocery shopping once a week too! I feel like it saves you money in the long run, rather than trying to think of everything you would eat in a month and end up overspending or letting food go to waste!

    Love your printable!
