Get Me Some Of That

1. CONVERSATION.
Not only has our church pastor previously talked about the importance of conversation, but when I saw this on Pinterest, I had to share. It's a good reminder for anyone in relationships/marriages. Gotta love a good quote.

2. MOTHERS DAY.
I'm kinda special because I have three mothers to celebrate - my momma, stepmom, and mother-in-law. Neato huh? Cheers to all the mommas out there - even all the furmommas, like myself!

3. GET ME SOME OF THAT.
I am annoyingly obsessed with this song and totally wish my college major was twistin' & tearin' up Friday nights.
Anybody with me?

4. NOT COMPLAINING.
The weather has been acting nutzo lately, but I am not gonna complain. I am summer girl through-and-through, so I can totes appreciate this hot, humid weather. Thank ya, sweet baby Jesus, that winter is in the past. Bring on the sunshine.

5. TOO EARLY? NAH.
It's never too early (in my humble opinion) to start decorating for Independence Day. Thus, I have already added "Love the USA" stickers to my door at work and made sure to put red, white, and blue everywhere possible. Some may think it's crazy, but I call it being patriotic.

I'm linking up for Five on Friday!

  6. You were such a beautiful bride! Step-parents are amazing blessings in my book. I was thinking w/ Memorial Day and all, why not just put up a red, white, and blue wreath on my house? Glad you are in agreement. Then I won't have to change it again until August. And YES, summer weather is the BEST. I DO NOT want another rainy summer like we had in SC last summer. Bring on the sun.

  9. Love that pin about conversation! Fun photos of your "moms" :) Yeah this Texas weather has been crazy, hasn't it?! We had to hide out in the middle of the building yesterday because of a tornado warning, now it's pretty and clear outside! :) Have a great weekend, Allison!

  10. Ahhhh! That song! Love it! And that line...it's on repeat in my head for hours after I hear it! When I took my Easter decorations down, I was wondering how long I'd need to wait till I broke out the red, white and blue...it kinda goes with Memorial Day, too....right???? :) Have a great weekend!
