Quite frankly, I'm obsessed with the U.S. of A. In lieu of Memorial Day being yesterday and my upcoming favorite holiday ever (hint hint: July 4th), I dressed entirely in red, white, and blue.
Dress - Hazel & Olive
Vest - Old Navy
Headband - Etsy ... obsessed
Ring/Earrings - Forever 21 (last year)
Bracelets - N/A (Old)
Shoes - Keds
Considering we're almost to the month of June, I am getting a wee bit excited about our 4th of July party. I recently scored an Independence Day themed tin bucket for 6 bucks from Target. Just what I needed right? My hubby would beg to differ. But if it has red, white, and blue on it... it was made specifically for yours truly.
Per usual around these parts of Texas Mrs., let's get straight to my SOAP for the week. This week in Small Group, we're reading John Chapter 3.
Scripture: Verse 27, To this John replied, "A person can receive only what is given them from heaven."
Observation: Everything that I have, I owe to Jesus.
Application: In valley's of life, I need to remember that I am a part of God's greater plan, along with my various talents. He is using ME for His greater good.
Prayer: Dear Lord, I am so grateful for your mercy and love. Please help me to not feel discouraged when I don't see your greater plan and how I fit in.
One last thing I wanted to note: as we're getting closer to starting the IUI treatment (roughly 2 weeks away), I want to say THANK YOU to everyone who has said a prayer for us. The thing is... God always hears our prayers, and I know that I am not forgotten. And just like John 3:27 says, every gift comes from Heaven. I don't take that lightly. I know that our future child will be the works of God himself. Thank you times infinity. I pray that God blesses each and every one of you!
