Pregnancy: Week 22

How far along: 22 weeks :-)

Baby Size: Almost a foot long - 11 inches!
Sleep: In the past week, my sleep has been pretty decent (as compared to previous weeks). So I'll take it. When I am sleeping, my dreams are crazy vivid!
Gender: The sweetest baby girl ever!

Movement: Although it seems a bit sporadic still, I am loving all the kicks and jabs that she's doing into my womb. There's nothing better!

Best moment this week: Now that it's February, I feel like we're that much closer to her June 9th due date. It's just been amazing to know that we've reached another big milestone at 22 weeks. Grow baby, grow!!!
Looking forward to: Sometime in the next couple of weeks, we'll be buying her crib mattress, the changing table/dresser combo, and her bedding. I am so looking forward to buying those for her nursery!

Food cravings: As I mentioned in a previous update, I am craving chicken caesar wraps like every day for lunch. I'm sure that my doctor would be glad to hear that. But don't be fooled - I still love my sweets! Or rather, I am gonna blame the sweet tooth of Kensington.
What I miss: Nothing. Absolutely nothing. I love everything about pregnancy.
Symptoms: Slow digestion has been something that I've had to get used to. I swear, it takes me like 5 hours to digest a normal sized meal. This is especially uncomfortable in the evening time because I just want to be lazy and lay down - but it seems worse when I do that.
Nursery: No major changes since my last update. However, we will be getting a glider (plus many more things) from my friend this week. I am so excited to put it in her room!

Wedding rings on or off? Not gonna lie - it's getting tight, but they're still on. It's usually the tightest in the morning time, right whenever I wake up. Once my blood gets movin', it's not so bad.

Daddy-isms: Every time Ross and I are in church and we hear the word, "grace", we instantly think of our baby girl since that's her middle name. Plus, Ross is bound and determined to call her by her middle name. On Sunday as we were leaving church he said, "I loved all that talk about Grace" (talking about our daughter). We didn't pick "Grace" as a middle name because it was a cute name. We didn't pick "Grace" as a middle name because it's in style right now. We picked "Grace" as a middle name because she is truly God's gift to us. Just read Ephesians 2:8. It speaks right to my heart.

Prayer: My God, you get all the glory. This week is another huge milestone for Kensington and I and it's all thanks to your sweet mercy. At 22 weeks, Kensie Grace should weigh roughly 1 precious pound, and I am so thankful that you are busy creating her so perfectly and precisely. I am thankful that her name is already written in the book of life and that you made her as my daughter, just like I am your daughter. Thank you for entrusting me with this gift. Thank you for all 22 weeks.
