A Blessed Weekend Indeed

I have so much to learn as a new mommy, but I know I'll figure it all out. Plus I have close friends around me who have little ones of their own and I can ask them questions any time. Meghann, our old neighbor (sad day), gave us their old bottles recently. They have an 18 month old so they didn't need them anymore. I woke up with a crazy amount of energy to get things done on Saturday morning, so I decided I would clean the bottles and put them away. I also cleared out an entire cabinet in the kitchen for Kensie's things. Yay for productivity.
After my energetic morning, I took a small nap, and then had to wake up to get ready for my second baby shower! The first shower (here) was hosted by my coworkers, and the shower from Saturday was hosted by three of my best friends. They did such a good job. I loved the decorations and the food.
Those pink sugar cookies were the best.
Yummy food. My favorite was the guacamole :)
Me with the hostesses - Brittany, Meghann, and Tiffany!
College friends are the best! I have known them for 10 years.
Momma, me, and Kensie :)
Linzy, Jess and I! I just love them so much! So thankful they are in my life.
Me posing with a cute sign my hostesses made.

After the shower, I pretty much crashed. I was exhausted. I guess the third trimester is really catching up to me. I can't stay awake during the day to save my life, but nighttime I am wide awake. My girlfriends keep telling me that it's nature's way of preparing me for Kensington's arrival.

Sunday was spent having brunch with my in-laws and Aunt Ann (although she's not pictured). Afterwards, hubby took me to Babies R Us, my new favorite store, and we browsed all the cute little girl clothes and baby essentials. We ended up buying the diaper pail that I had added to my registry because it was on sale and we had gotten money from our shower. Once we left Babies R Us, I took a  little cat nap. I am really good at napping. Not to mention, my feet have been swollen pretty much constantly (although my blood pressure is always fine), so I try to spend as much time in bed propping my feetsies up.
Don't mind my jacked up hair. I just threw it up!

We ended the weekend with taking maternity photos. I am ultra excited to see how they turn out. Once we get them, I will share! It's so hard to believe that we're quickly approaching Kensie Grace's due date. Only a month and half left (6 weeks). Glory to God for all of His blessings!
