Movement: Baby bear loves wiggling around. She is most active around 7 or 8pm, once mommy has gotten a chance to prop her feet up. She just loves to push her booty and back against mommy's right side. It makes the hiccups really easy to feel.
Best moment this week: It's all great. But having our first shower was pretty amazing. And we have another on this Saturday. What a blessing!
Looking forward to: I am looking forward to everything that will be coming over the next 7 weeks - from the showers, to the breastfeeding classes, to laboring day. I have prayed and prayed for pregnancy and a baby... so I don't want to take even a second for granted.
What I miss: Nothing.At.All. (Like I've said a million times, I love being pregnant!)
Symptoms: Swollen feet and ankles, but what's new?
Nursery: Did y'all like that mini sneak peak above? I am going to do a full nursery reveal before the end of the month... so get excited. I am in love with her room. Sometimes I just go and sit in there, soaking it all in. I look forward to rocking my baby girl to sleep in her room and singing her lullabies.
Wedding rings on or off? Off. But I've been enjoying my fake rings. They are nice and loose!
Daddy-isms: Daddy was joking around saying that Kensie is never allowed to play outside so that we can "always protect her." This was spurred because we drove by a bunch of kids playing in our neighborhood and I said, "look... that'll be Kensie one day" but he quickly disagreed. Obviously, we will let her play outside (he was only joking), but I just love that he's so protective over her.
Prayer: God, I am so thankful for the gift of Kensington. As she continues growing this week and during the future weeks, I ask that you have your hand over her. Please protect her in my womb. Please also cover me with your hand as we near Kensie's birth day. I pray for a continued happy and healthy pregnancy, and I pray that you will take any worries and fears away. I trust that you will take care of both Kensie Grace and I.
